Joanna Ruiz always go above anyone else there. She gets answers & solves problems, something the director & other social workers during & post Covid, have not. All in all its an amazing suburban office for the LGBTQ communities, for those of us unable to go into the City Of Chicago University Hospitals any longer.

The APN's and lab work staff is great to work with. Although be very careful about the receptionists. They had me schedule an appointment with one of the APN's for my lab work results. They never said ANYTHING about me having to come in for the appointment so I thought it was over the phone like I usually do. When I called to let them know I'm ready for the appointment over the phone, the lady said "it was supposed to be in person". When I explained that no one told me it was in person, she just said, yeaaaah it was in person. Like she didn't acknowledge my issue. I call the supervisor only for her to cut me off to ask what my name was again. Put me on hold for a few minutes only to tell me the same thing the receptionist said. When I tried explaining that I was not made aware of coming in, she said she asked the APN and he said I needed to come in. Like okay this does not answer my question!! I've been a manager for over 3 years and I would always find a solution to a problem. Now I am worried that I will be charged for something that I never knew about. Stay weary of this place my lgbtq fam...stay weary.

If I could give it zero stars I would. This place is not good and they don’t keep their appointment times. I had an appointment at 3:00 p.m. for labs, the place was quiet with no other people other than staff. I sat there for 45 mins while I heard staff in the back laughing and talking about different things. After 45 minutes, someone comes to the front desk because another person came in. I went up there and told the staff member I had to leave and had been sitting there for 45 mins. She told me she could go back there and see if they’re ready. I told her no. She apologized, but honestly, having to sit there tor 45 mins for labs? I’ve had these labs done at other places and the max I’ve ever had to wait is 10-15 mins tops. Maybe if they weren’t back there laughing and talking about their personal lives they could deliver better services. Avoid this place.

The risk assessment and testing administer (cannot recall their name) was exceptionally welcoming. They respected me as a person and patient without judgement and I felt extremely comfortable opening up about my sexual health history - something that even my PCP hasn’t been made aware of. Please recognize them for their outstanding service! All staff were very friendly.

I have been on a search for a primary care doctor since moving to the suburbs. I was excited to find a place that served lgbtq+ plus patients. My excitement was met with frustration a bit of anger to disappointment. My appointment was scheduled for 11:20 am. It was 11:55 am and I still had not been seen. I approached the receptionist; I believe her name is Angela and asked for timing when I would be seen. She said I'd be out by 12:30. Which in my mind is a very short visit with the doctor. When I pushed back on if this is normal she said they were double booked. To my surprise she suggested I look for Healthcare elsewhere. So I asked for the documents I signed and left. If possible seek Healthcare elsewhere as suggested by Angela the receptionist.
